Started my day by waking up late for work because I slept at 4am in the morning rushing my work. While on the way to work, my usual smooth flowing route to work was jam for no reason and my car temperature went up because of a faulty fan that I yet to fix. Luckily there’s a petrol station nearby and I stopped there to let the engine cool down while I inform my boss about the situation. I went into the station to buy a pack of milk and newspaper to read to kill some time. Then my phone rang, its my client and I had to rush back to office to solve some problem for him. The whole day I was alternating between rushing my work that will be due in 2 days time and handling client support. The calls just keep coming in and it really disrupts my rhythm in coding. After much struggle I manage to finish 1 module at the end of the day.

I decided to go read comics in SS2 to relax myself. I left office around 7.30pm and I expects the roads should be clear already. When I reached SPRINT highway from Kerinchi Link, I was comtemplating whether I should go through the road in front of Phileo Damansara or use the highway and pay 1 ringgit. Decided to pay and while on the way towards the toll, there was a massive jam in front of Phileo, for the moment I was happy that I decided not to use that road. My happiness quickly turned into worry when I see there are alot of cars at the toll booth. And my worry turned into panic after I pass the tollbooth. Its jam all the way until Damansara Intan and there are no way to exit or detour from that point. My eyes now are locked onto the my car’s temperature gauge hoping that it stays the way it is. Then the inevitable happened, the gauge inclined towards the hot zone and I am still very far away from an exit. I end up offing my car engine when there’s no movement and start the engine again to move again. Luckily, my car manage to hold up until Damansara Intan and I stopped there to let the car cool down. Called my mum to chat to kill some time. From this point, I am very close to SS2, so I decided to make a dash to SS2 hoping that I will reach in time before the temperature goes up again. Unfortunately, the intersection of SPRINT and LDP is jam too. I went through the agony all over again. I am forced to stop by the roadside after the intersection because the gauge is at 3 quarter already. Rested the car for another 30 mins while I sat inside looking at passing cars. Then I made a dash towards SS2 again.

When I finally made it to SS2, the whole place was DARK!!!!???? There was a power failure there and it affected both comic shops that i usually go. Felt so depressed at this point, I left my car to cool down and walk to have chicken rice for dinner at the hawker center. After my meal, I got back some motivation and decided that I must read my comics tonight at all cost. I walked towards the main road and took a cab to Taman Megah’s comic shop. I manage to read 3 out of my usual 6-7 comics because the rest did not arrive from Hong Kong last week. Then I took another cab back to SS2, refill the radiator with water and dashed home. And that ended my unfortunate day. A supposedly trip to the comic shop to relax my mind ended up making me more depress and took nothing off my stress from work.
